Vidra Ventures is a privately held company that owns and operates a small group of businesses. Alongside that work, we take on a limited number of outside engagements each year.
What we do
Advisory and consulting
We work with founders and operators on the problems that don't fit neatly into a job description — pricing and unit economics, go-to-market, operational bottlenecks, and the analysis behind a decision that has to be right the first time.
Software development
We design and build custom applications, internal tools, and data infrastructure, and we stay on to maintain them. Most of our work starts as a prototype that proves the idea before anyone commits to a full build.
Consumer products
We build and operate our own D2C and B2B2C brands, from early product development through go-to-market and scale. We also take on value-add roles in existing consumer businesses, stepping in where operational or brand expertise can grow the top line.
We only take work we'd be willing to own outright.
How we work
Every engagement is run by the people who do the work. There are no account managers, no handoffs to a junior team, and no billable-hour theatre.
We keep the client list short on purpose. That means we say no often, and it means the projects we do take get real attention. If we're not the right fit for something, we'll say so early and point you somewhere better.
